5 Fully-Funded Scholarships for 2026 in Europe

Whenever you look for a university or school in Europe for higher studies, the main concern in your mind is how much the fee is for these schools or universities, which you have to pay to get admitted to this school or university.  Some famous, or we can say high-ranking, universities in Europe want you to pay a high semester fee, or allow you to become a part of their university. On the other hand, if you get a scholarship, it allows you to study free of cost, meaning without paying any tuition fee for the semester, which you are always looking for.

So that’s why we decided to write this blog for you if you are a graduate with high grades and want to study for a master’s or PhD, etc., without paying any tuition fee.  So we come up with at least 5 fully funded scholarships in Europe for 2026 that allow you to get enrolled without any additional fee, as we are aware that studying for a master’s or further education, especially in Europe, is not that easy when it comes to the huge fee for every semester. These are five fully funded scholarships for you to consider in 2026/2027. Let’s start one by one for you.

1. The Eric Bleumink Fellowship (Netherlands)

If you want to have a life in the Netherlands, especially after your studies, when it’s about your professional career, then this scholarship, named the Eric Bleumink Fellowship, is the best option for you.

Author’s note regarding this scholarship

The good thing with this scholarship is that they cover all of your fees, expenses, accommodation, and tickets, etc., which means you do not need to pay anything. Another good thing is that if you get this scholarship, you will get 15 thousand euros for your whole program directly from this foundation, as this scholarship is offered by the Ubbo Emmius Foundation. However, this scholarship is only for those who belong to developing countries. Read more about the Eric Bleumink Fellowship.

Deadline: For this scholarship, you need to apply by December 1st, 2025.

2. University of Kassel Exposé Scholarship (Germany)

If you want to become a doctor in your field, then this unique opportunity is for you!. This scholarship is like a leading support to start your research work in the future. This isn’t for the full PhD just yet; it’s a scholarship to plan your PhD, which makes this scholarship unique for researchers.

Author note for you regarding Expose Scholarship.

With this scholarship, you will get a €1,300 monthly stipend for up to 9 months to help you work on your dissertation proposal. The good thing about this scholarship is that they offer an additional €200/month for you as a family allowance, meaning if you have family around, then you will get 200 extra, which is not very common.

So if you want this scholarship, then you must convince a professor at the University of Kassel to be your supervisor. This is key, as you know, this is a very common requirement, as we all know that when we apply for a PhD or researcher position, we have to convince the supervisor of what we are going to do in our research its a kind of interview which is a standard requirement. So the same applies to this scholarship offer. Last but not least, this offer is everyone around the globe beyond any nationalities but only for 9 months. Read more about the Expose scholarship.

Deadline: The deadline is the same as the first scholarship, meaning December 1st, 2025.  But they offer it every year, meaning if you miss this deadline, you can apply in the next year, 2026-2027, as well.

Author’s note about visa

If you are from a country where you need a visa to come to Germany, then you have to apply for a visa. If you don’t know about the German study visa, then we have another blog post that covers all the processes and requirements of the German study visa. 3. DAAD Scholarship (Germany)

If you have some information about scholarships in Europe, then you might have heard about the DAAD scholarship, which is offered by a German organization. So if you want to live and study in Germany, which is no doubt the top economy of Europe, for your studies and future settlement, then consider this scholarship.

Author Note for you

The scholarship is not for German students but for all students across the world for bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD programs, but the scholarship amount is different for each program. This means if you want to study for a bachelor’s or master’s, they will pay you between 990 and 1000, but for a PhD program, you will get 1300 euros per month, which is without a doubt a fair amount.

Although in german institute master’s program is free, if you get this scholarhisp then you will get 992 euros every month to cover your expenses beyond study. However, to get this scholarship, you need to have good grades plus expertise in English through any language test, e.g. ILETS etc or you also know german language. Read more about the DAAD scholarship.

Deadline: They have their intakes every year around August to October, so you can consider this in 2026.

4. Erasmus Mundus MAPP Scholarship (Across Europe 2026-2027)

If you want to study in four different countries, meaning each semester in a different country in Europe, where you not only study but also explore four different countries, then the Erasmus Mundus scholarship is the best choice for you for your master’s program.

Author keynote about Erasmus Mundus scholarship

This scholarship is one of my best scholarships in Europe that offers so many benefits, including your monthly expenses, around 550 to 750 euros, but depending on your study and country as well. This is a rough sum, of course.  This does not end here; they give you additional support with your traveling and ticketing.  The thing that makes this scholarship best for me is that they support you even after your studies, meaning they help you to get an internship in Europe, which is also paid almost the same as they pay you for your master’s program monthly.

Deadline: They offer scholarships every year between September and January, meaning you can submit your application between these months. So you can apply right now as well.

Author Another note regarding Erasmus

Erasmus is for you if you truly want an international experience and a degree that stands out everywhere, and it’s one of the best scholarships that we mentioned because you have to study in four different countries, which gives you more international exposure and knowledge for your practical life after study, plus an internship opportunity, which no other scholarship organization provides. Read more about the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship.

5. Eiffel Excellence Scholarship (France)

Last but not least, the Eiffel Excellence scholarship is for you if you want to study in France and then settle your career in France after studying.  This is as famous as DAAD, but of course, DAAD is a German scholarship, and this scholarship is based in France.

Author’s note regarding Eiffel Excellence scholarship

If you want to study free of cost in France and then, of course, settle there after study, France offers you long-term residency and citizenship earlier as compared to other European countries, especially if you go there to study and complete your studies as well.  So this scholarship is the best option for you not to study, but to settle in the future.

When we talk about financial support, you would be happy to know that they support you for a master’s and a PhD; for a master’s, they give you around 1150-1200 euros, and for a PhD, they give you around 1400 euros, plus other travel support, etc.

Deadline: They offer scholarships every year, and right now, they have already offered you a scholarship for the scholarship form for 1st October 2025. So you can send your application until 8 January 2026. If you still miss this deadline, you can consider 2027 as well. Read more about the Eiffel Excellence scholarship.
