Author’s note for you

Apart from these documents, you have to fallow the standard application process, which includes your application form, receipt of fee payment, which is 340 zloty, four passpport size picture and all the copies of your passport that you have to submit at the immigration office.

Take an appointment for document submission

Once you have all the documents ready, make an appointment through Inpol because you cannot directly visit the office and submit your documents, but this is only in Warsaw. If you are located in another city, then it might be different. That means you do not need to make an appointment in every city. Some cities allow you to directly visit and submit your documents, but in Warsaw you cannot submit without an appointment at the Polish immigration office located in Warsaw. Read in detail about how to get an appointment at the immigration office.

Note: The above system was valid till April 27, 2026, and after that you have to submit with a new system that we would write at the end of this blog.

Author Note for you

once you submit your documents, then wait for the decision, but in the meantimeyou have to be ready for an interview because for a spouse-based residence permit, the immigration office may ask for an interview for both you and your spouse, where they will ask certain questions about you and your life at home. So you have to answer every question properly; as a matter of fact, your interview is crucial, so you have to consider this a crucial part of your spouse-based application process for a temporary residence permit.

Author’s very important note about the New MOSII system

The above process was a standard process, but in 2026 the Warsaw immigration is going to introduce a new system where you have to submit your application online through this new MOSII system where you have to create your account through a trust profile, and all the communication between you and the immigration office will be done online with an e-delivery system, which is your official online email account for communication with the offices, e.g., immigration, tax office, etc. So without this, you cannot physically submit your hard copies or send them by post, and it will not be available after 27 April 2026. So be ready for the new system, and this applies to you as well, just like other work permit applicants.
